BSP Financial Group has officially transitioned its Fiji branch operations into a wholly-owned subsidiary, BSP Financial Group (Fiji) Pte Limited.
Announcing the move, Board Chairman Robert Bradshaw highlighted that this restructuring aligns with a growing trend among large companies seeking to enhance operational efficiency. Bradshaw noted that the Fijian Parliament passed the BSP Fiji Act 2024 on 5 December, following stakeholder consultations. This ensured a seamless transition with no disruptions for customers or employees.
Reassuring clients, Bradshaw confirmed that accounts, loans, and services remain unaffected, with only the legal name of the bank in Fiji changing. He expressed gratitude to the Reserve Bank of Fiji, the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister for Finance, and the Fijian Government for their support throughout the process.
