Benjamin Alexander, set to be the first Jamaican Olympic alpine skier at the Winter Olympics, 2022. Alexander, who has an English mother and Jamaican father secured his qualification for the Beijing Games after finishing seventh in the giant slalom at the Cape Verde National Ski Championships in Liechtenstein. The 38-year-old, born in Northamptonshire, formerly an internationally renowned DJ who started skiing only seven years ago, will be the 15th athlete to compete for Jamaica at the competition.
