Born in Nigeria’s oil-rich Niger Delta, Tariye Gbadegesin has helped launch a public-private pan-African infrastructure bank, the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC). She led AFC’s first wind power project and became the face of the bank’s climate engagement. In March 2020, she became Nigeria-based fund’s CEO at ARM-Harith. Gbadegesin also talked about strategy and business for achieving net-zero goals and its impact on the continent’s future development at COP26.
