Nigeria’s Access Bank completes the acquisition of a majority stake of 78.15% in a retail-focused commercial banking institution, African Banking Corporation of Botswana Limited. It is the fourth acquisition by the Nigerian lender in 2021 after Grobank in South Africa, Zambia’s Cavmont Bank and BancABC of Mozambique.
