The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) will host its 32nd Annual Meetings (AAM2025) in Abuja, Nigeria, from June 25-27, 2025, bringing together influential leaders from Africa, the Caribbean, and beyond under the theme “Building the Future on Decades of Resilience.”

The high-profile gathering will feature Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, and African Union Commissioner Albert Muchanga among its distinguished speakers. Notable business leaders including Aliko Dangote and Tony Elumelu will join international experts such as Professor Jeffrey Sachs and Dr. Kishore Mahbubani in discussions.

The meetings aim to facilitate significant trade and investment deals while advancing key priorities including:

  • Implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA)
  • Enhancement of cross-border payment systems
  • Strengthening Africa-Caribbean economic ties
  • Fostering private sector participation in policy reforms

Expected to attract thousands of participants from over 80 countries, AAM2025 will serve as a platform for launching new initiatives and mobilizing billions in funding for strategic sectors over the next 5-10 years.
