Air Sierra Leone, the country’s new flag carrier, has begun flights between Freetown and Lagos, Nigeria, expanding its African operations.

In partnership with Nigerian domestic airline Xejet, which provides aircraft for its operations, Air Sierra Leone conducted its inaugural flight to Lagos on Wednesday, recording a 36-passenger load on its 50-seat Embraer E145 aircraft. General Manager Edgard Lacle announced at Lagos’ Murtala Muhammed International Airport that the airline will operate three weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, offering unique services to passengers. This launch marks a key step in enhancing regional connectivity.
