The Commonwealth youth leaders wrapped up a three-day summit in London, introducing two significant initiatives to enhance global health: the Commonwealth Young Health Leaders Fellowship and the Commonwealth Leadership Institute (Health). These initiatives are designed to create platforms for such leaders to engage in ongoing health dialogues, foster innovation, and build partnerships to benefit the 1.6 billion young people across the Commonwealth.

During the summit, participants focused on critical health challenges, including access to quality healthcare, the increasing burden of mental health issues and non-communicable diseases (NCDs), as well as the adverse effects of climate change on health. The Commonwealth Leadership Institute will act as a central hub for leaders to collaborate and enhance their skills in promoting community health and well-being.
