The Basketball Africa League (BAL) announced its expanded fourth season set to begin on March 9, 2024, in Pretoria, South Africa. This season will be the biggest yet for the league with a record 48 games taking place across four African countries. The top 12 club teams from 12 different African nations will participate. This marks the first time the BAL will host games in South Africa. It is also the first time matches will occur in four separate countries throughout the season.
