Ghana gains approval of a $28.49 million grant from the African Development Bank’s Board of Directors to construct renewable energy infrastructure, which aims to increase its use of renewable energy by 10% by 2030. The funding will assist in constructing mini-grids, stand-alone solar photovoltaic systems, and solar-based battery facilities for excess power storage, also known as net metering.
