According to Startup Genome, Vancouver ranks the highest of all Canadian cities in the 2021 Life Sciences edition of the Global Startup Ecosystem Report. The data was collected from 3 million companies across 280 ecosystems, judging every region on factors like performance, funding, network, market reach, knowledge and talent. Montreal, Quebec City, Edmonton and Toronto-Waterloo also made it in the list of ecosystems to watch.
