Australia and Singapore concludes a blockchain trial project analysing the status of the countries’ digital verification systems in issuing and verifying trade documents. It was a part of the Australia–Singapore Digital Economy Agreement (DEA) which came into force last year. The two countries collaborated in an effort to enhance their existing digital trade and minimise economic friction in cross-border payments.
