As per the new common agricultural policy (CAP), Cyprus plans to spend €461.9m on the agricultural sector over the five-year period of 2023-2027 subject to European Commission consultations and approval. The Agriculture ministry visions for a green Cyprus through sustainable growth, and environment protection. The Green Deal will facilitate business development in agricultural areas with an action plan for a cyclical economy.
