Kenyan farmers are experimenting with the “push-pull” method to deal with the costly and polluting pesticides problem. Agrochemicals are some of the leading polluters of water bodies in rural Kenya, according to the studies. With this organic method, the labour costs go higher by 48% but still, farmers are finding it more reliable as the yields have nearly doubled.
